Maria Gorinova

Maria Gorinova, is a speech therapist and psychodrama therapist, works in the field of children's mental health, teaching and training of students and professionals in helping professions. She graduated from Sofia University "Kliment Ohridski", Sofia, speech therapy and deaf pedagogy, defended her educational and scientific degree Doctor in the Department of Pedagogy, specialty Counseling in clinical social work, with the dissertation "Counseling in a group of women victims of domestic violence“, with methods and techniques of psychodrama. She has worked as a part-time assistant at the university, also as a part-time trainer at the Music Therapy Institute "Sofia".  Works with children and adolescents at the Clinic of Child Psychiatry "St. Nicholas", at the University Hospital "Alexandrovska", also as a freelance specialist. 

She graduated as a psychodrama psychotherapist from the Psychodrama Institute "Orpheus" in 2003,  Director for Psychodrama with children sinvce 2016 and Director of psychodrama and action metods for adolescents since 2019. As a psychotherapist she works  with groups of children and adolescents with various problems, has therapeutic experience with women victims of physical and mental domestic violence in the framework of his participation in a project under the Daphne Program - EMPOWER Project 2010 - 2012 with the University of Padua, Italy. Also participates in projects at the Ministry of Culture and the National Culture Fund - Program "Socially Engaged Arts", aimed at psychosocial and educational work of children and adolescents with special educational needs (SEN), as well as support for psychotherapeutic and rehabilitation work with adults with mental problems. She was a trainer in corporate trainings at Outward Boud-Bulgaria and similar organizations.

Since 2020 she is trainer in Psychodrama Center Orpheus
