Psychodrama Center Orpheus was established in 1993 by Dr. Galabina Tarashoeva, with the active support of Professor David Kipper from Chicago University and the assistance of Daniela Kerina.
Psychodrama Center Orfeus is the first Bulgarian institute to develop its Program for the full training course for Psychodrama-Directors. This Program was developed after acquaintance with the programs of the Psychodrama Institutes, members of the International Association for Group Psychotherapy (IAGP) and the Federation of European Psychodrama Training Organizations (FEPTO). In the years it underwent development, respectively, of the changes in the minimum standards of FEPTO, the Bulgarian Society of Psychodrama and Group Therapy (BSPGT), the European Association of Psychotherapy (EAP) and the Bulgarian Association of Psychotherapy (BAP).
The Director of Psychodrama Center Orpheus, Dr. Galabina Tarashoeva, is one of the Founding Members of FEPTO in 1996, and Orpheus is an institutional member of FEPTO since March 1998. The members of the FEPTO mutually recognize and accept their diplomas, teachers and students.
