Galabina Tarashoeva - Teaching Practice

1993 – Foundeing of Psychodrama Center Orpheus – a private institute for psychotherapy. Leader of 25 personal potential development groups, 6 psychodrama assistants training groups, and 1 psychodrama directors training group. The training during the first few years of the Institute was done with the active cooperation and under the supervision of prominent guest trainers dnd lecturers: Prof. David Kipper (USA), Sue Daniel (Australia), Bernhard Achterberg (Germany). Later on many well known Psychodrama trainers: Roberto de Inocencio (Spain), Elaine Sachnoff (USA), Yaacov Naor (Israel), Prof. Pierre Fontaine (Belgium) and Chantal Neve (Belgium), Monica Zuretti (Argentina), Eva falhsrom (Sweden, Marcia Karp (England), Gabriela Moita (Portugal), Manela Maciel (Portugal), Dena Baumgartner (Arizona, USA), Helena Brem (Switzerland), Fabian Blobel (Germany) held training seminars and open lectures both for students of Orpheus and for the psychodrama community in Bulgaria.

 1996 – The first psychodrama assistants trained at Psychodrama Center Orpheus are graduated after passing a final practice exam conducted by Prof. David Kipper

1998 – Psychodrama Center Orpheus becomes an institutional member of FEPTO – The Federation of European Psychodrama Training Organizations http://www.fepto.com/members/training-organizations

2003 – The first psychodrama directors, trained at Psychodrama Center Orpheus are graduated

Since 1993 and go on Psychodrama training and education within the Program of Psychodrama Center Orpheus - Institutional member of the Federation of European Psychodrama Training Organizations (FEPTO). Currently, there are 2 training groups at the assistant level and one group at the director level

1999 – Special Seminars on the topics: Conflict Resolution, Group Dynamics and Group Work, Working with Resistance, Working with Aggression, The Therapeutic Factors, Process and Content, Working with Losses, Team and Team Building, Team Counseling, Organizational Counseling, Crises and Crisis Interventions, Supervision and Intervision, Fairy Tales in Psychotherapy, Role Playing and Role Training.

 2001 –Team-building, Work in Networks, Methods of Conflict Resolution – educational module for the team of the Bureau for Social Work with Disabled Children, National Social Rehabilitation Center

2001 – Crises and Crisis Interventions of the Unemployed – 40h training module, for each of the four teams of psychologists working at the National Employment Agency.

 2001 – Supervision and Intervision. Group work – the concept of groups, creating a group and group norms, creating a healthy group culture, contracting, roles and functions of the group leader, phases of group development, dynamics of the group process, roles within the group, group resistance and interventions, conflict resolution work within a group. – 40h training module for each of the four teams of psychologists working at the National Employment Agency.

2002 – Institutional Counseling. Teams and Teamwork – 40h training module for each of the four teams of psychologists working at the National Employment Agency

 2002 – Psychological Counseling of Individuals in Long-term Unemployment – 40h training module for each of the four teams of psychologists working at the National Employment Agency

2002-2003 – Foundation Health and Social Development

  • 4 two day training modules Psychosocial Work in Small Groups

  • 4 two day supervision modules on Psychosocial Work in Small Groups of the foundation’s teams

  • 2 two day training modules Motivational Work for the Outreach Workers

2003 – 2012 – director of Playback Theatre Orpheus – over 25 performances

 2006 and 2007 – 25 hour long training modules for the teams of the Mental Health Centers in Rouse and Vratza. In connections with the project “Mobile psychiatry”

2012 – 2019 – Co-conducting in Orpheus Training Programs, conducted by D-r Fabian Blobel:

  • Training program “Psychodrama with children in individual and group settings, the method of Alfons Aichinger “

  • Training Program “Psychodrama and Action Methods in Working with Groups of Adolescents”

2013. Training of partner’s teams (from Spain, Italy, Austria, Bulgaria and Germany) in the European project TranSpace to the Daphne program (to develop and implement a methodology for working with children with psychiatric disorders, victims of violence) in Sofia. The members of the teams were trained in the application of the developed methodology.

2014. Training of partner’s teams (from Spain, Slovenia and Germany) in the European project HORGANIC to the Grundtvig – Lifelong Learning Program (to develop a methodology and manual for training people with mental disorders in horticulture and social skills), conducted in Germany. The team members were trained in the developed methodology, and then their activities were supervised by me.

 2016 – Training of 3 groups of psychologists, social workers and nurses in skills for work with mentally ill people under the project “Mental Health for Social Inclusion” under the BG 07 “Public Health Initiatives” project financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2004 and the financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2009-2014, No RD-13-130 / 14.09.2015

 2019 –4-7 of July in Cairo, Еgypt - 4 days collaboration of Psychodrama Center Orpheus with Rakhawy Institute for Training and Research –

  • Conducting Psychodrama, sociodrama, sociometry and group therapy: 3 days workshop for beginners

  • open lecture The birth of Psychodrama, Sociodrama, Sociometry and Group Therapy – historic - philosophical roots

  •  “Can we prove the effectiveness of psychotherapy in research? And do we want to? Peculiarities in psychodrama” - an workshop for practice with the instruments - SAI R, CORE OM, HAT

Since 2020, the training activity in Orpheus has expanded in partnership with the Center for Psychological Counseling and Psychotherapy "Ariadna" in Veliko Tarnovo, with trainer Lyuba Tsanova. Tfgether with her we are teaching one group director’s level and one group assistant’s level.
